During his 40 years of experience in agricultural chemical manufacturing, Ron Data has held many positions within the Operations Department of Rentech Energy Midwest Corporation. At present, he is in the ammonia compressor house, a position that involves the final stages of ammonia conversion. Ron is a Technician on the Rentech Energy Midwest HAZMAT Team and a First Responder on the Company EMS Team.
Ron has been a member of the Menominee-Dunleith Fire Department for 39 years and is currently the First Assistant Chief and Emergency Medical Service Coordinator. Peg received her Nursing education from Highland Community College (RN), Rockford College (BSN) and Northern Illinois University (MSN) which included specialty training for Nurse Practitioners. She is currently a nationally Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse with specialty training in Family Practice. Peg is a member of the Nurse Advisory Board for the nursing programs of Highland Community College and the Saint Anthony School of Nursing. She is currently a Preceptor for Nurse Practitioner Students from various nursing colleges.

Recently retired, Daniel L. Guzzle, Sr. was formerly the PSM / ISO Manager at Rentech Nitrogen outside of East Dubuque, IL. Dan’s responsibilities include overseeing the 14 elements of OSHA’s PSM regulations (29 CFR 1910.119), and the ISO 9001:2008 Quality System at the plant.
Dan began working at this facility in 1967 at an entry level position in operations. He held many different jobs as an operator in the plant while in the Operations Department.
He was promoted into a management position in 1982. Over the next 27 years he held many different positions, including many years as Production Superintendent, Production Manager and Operations Manager and was responsible for the day to day operations of all the plants on the site.
He became PSM Manager in 2009. Among the other items in PSM, this involves the overall responsibility for the Emergency Planning and Response for Rentech Nitrogen. The plant has a fully equipped, voluntarily staffed Hazardous Material Response team as well as a volunteer Medical First Responder team with a van and trailer for the needed equipment. He was an active member of the Rentech Nitrogen Hazmat Response team.
